Ariana Grande lidera la lista con 7 nominaciones, seguida de Shawn Mendes, Lil Nas X y Billie Eilish con 6.
Los MTV European Music Awards aterrizan por segundo año consecutivo en España, en esta ocasión en Sevilla. La ceremonia tendrá lugar el domingo 3 de noviembre y se han anunciado las nominaciones en las que lidera Ariana Grande con siete nominaciones, incluyendo «Mejor Artista», «Mejor Video» por thank you, next y «Mejor Canción» por 7 rings.
Seguidamente de Grande compiten a llevarse la noche de premios Shawn Mendes, Lil Nas X y Billie Eilish con seis candidaturas. J Balvin opta a cinco nominaciones entre las que destaca «Mejor Artista».
Acompañada de Lizzo y Taylor Swift, Rosalía consigue 4 candidaturas en las que destaca la de «Mejor Colaboración» y «Mejor Vídeo» por su éxito Con Altura.
En España, compiten por llevarse el título de «Mejor Artista Local»: Amaral, Anni B Sweet, Beret, Carolina Durante y Lola Índigo.
